Preliminary Matters: The Obion County Board of Education will meet in regular session October 3, 2011 at Lake Road Elementary School at 7:00 p.m. Prior to the meeting, the school will host the "New Employee Reception," which will begin at 6:00 p.m Items of Note: Please let Linda Carney know if you will be attending TSBA’s Annual Conference in November. On October 6, 2011 school will dismiss after one-half day and parent-teacher conference will begin at 1:00 p.m. and will end at 7:00 p.m. School will be dismissed October 7, 2011, and October 10, 2011 is Columbus Day. The four-day weekend will constitute our Fall Break for the 2011 - 2012 school year. Classes will resume on Tuesday, October 11, 2011. Consent Agenda (Item VI.): Background Information: The consent agenda consists of the monthly personnel report and the monthly financial reports/business activity. In addition , as of 08/30/2011 the following item(s) has/have been removed from the technology inventory system and taken to the Obion County Recycling Center: All of the above equipment was in non-working condition or of no value due to usage and age. A document describing the equipment is attached. Staff Recommendation: I recommend approval of all items listed on the consent agenda. |
